In this lesson, students will:
a) identify and explain the causes and effects of the Halifax Explosion
b) explore the damage, destruction caused by this disaster and the fallout it had on the people of Halifax
c) identify Halifax’s contribution and sacrifice to the War Effort on the home front
d) explore this topic using multimedia, radio excerpts, original photographs and other primary documents
